About Algebraix Data
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Austin, TX, Algebraix is the inventor of Data Algebra®. Over 7 years of R&D, Algebraix invented Data Algebra and proved its effectiveness in a variety of data management contexts. In particular it invented and refined a new approach to database query optimization enabling faster insights, improved multi-user concurrency, lower infrastructure costs and reduced database administration effort. Its technology intelligently learns and adapts to a database environment.
Algebraix holds a series of patents related to its application of Data Algebra to computer technology. In fact, Algebraix literally wrote the book on The Algebra of Data. In it, Algebraix Founder Professor Gary Sherman and leading industry analyst Robin Bloor Ph D identify data algebra as the new foundation of the data economy.
Applying its data algebra-based technology, Algebraix is now in the process of building and establishing an innovative new blockchain-based advertising market that will allow individuals to store, manage, and monetize their own data. The networked system will use the ALX token as its cryptocurrency. Aside from managing the data market and databases services, the goal of this project is also to establish an ecosystem of applications to serve this market, both through direct development and by partnering with other software providers.
